On March 1st, 2014 at the Stirling Room, 16 Trinity Street in Toronto, a gala will be held in honour of Jeffrey Baldwin the 5 year old boy who was starved to death by his grandparents. Proceeds from the gala will go towards the costs of constructing a permanent bronze statue and park bench in memory of Jeffrey in Greenwood Park, Toronto across the street from where Jeffrey lived. The statue will be designed so children can play with Jeffrey, something Jeffrey was denied in his short lifespan. There has a been huge outpouring of support since the inquest into Jeffrey’s death began last September and we hope you will be able to participate in these activities in honour of Jeffrey.
